Black Cottons

Eyesore to eyesore,
Following the ashes astray,
Color your fading light source,
In shades of Persian blue and gray.

Talk of past judgments,
Of handsome creatures and men,
Once upon a history alignment,
Now shattered dust in counts of ten.

Weep of sorrows and Sparrows,
Raven the black in simple truth,
Speak the gospel hollows,
In wasted dreams of strong youth.

We are the forgotten,
Of times clicking absolute death,
Goodbye mourners in dark cottons,
In flocks of birds,
Hear the last breath.
