Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

On a silver day,
and what silver days hold,
I promised a dance for my days to unfold,
In gray memories,
Sun and the sky,
I walked barefoot,
Snow overcast in my eyes.
The mountains came closer to me,
Fire and ashes, volcanoes are low,
I startled at the overcast and the far sea,
Heaven and hell, little did I know.
Diverting my afterlife, everlast my shore,
My heart ancient and sad,
Count the hours, a little moment too slow,
A breeze of air I feel and believe,
A second chance for life, hear me breathe,
My bones and my ashes, a skeleton of defeat,
My wings and my madness, no longer conceit,
I lived for attention, hush the promises combined,
And wanted fame and fortune, painful my ugly sublime.
But I’m dancing to the rhythm,
I’m dancing too fast for now,
My life withering slowly,
No fame or fortune found,
And I’ll decay.
One bone,
One vein,
One skin cell at a time.
