Fever

Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

True to my colors,
I am exhausted,
Taken enough of my time,
Because something was lost in my doorstep,
Of water and sand,
I t’s no longer mine.

My eyes are heavy in defeat,
I fight my way out of sleep,
The sound of air blowing,
Pitch the dark nights are showing.

Working keeps me out of insanity,
I’ve watched the world go by and by,
Forced enough to speak of vanity,
Can’t show what isn’t even mine.

My body is feverish,
Darken the ink too soon,
The answer of death was once devilish,
Maybe I asked for it an hour too soon.
