Eyesore to eyesore,
Following the ashes astray,
Color your fading light source,
In shades of Persian blue and gray.

Talk of past judgments,
Of handsome creatures and men,
Once upon a history alignment,
Now shattered dust in counts of ten.

Weep of sorrows and Sparrows,
Raven the black in simple truth,
Speak the gospel hollows,
In wasted dreams of strong youth.

We are the forgotten,
Of times clicking absolute death,
Goodbye mourners in dark cottons,
In flocks of birds,
Hear the last breath.

Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

Like a petunia bulb I hid it,
Closely to my heart, never to share,
The pain inside I bid it,
A close memory to farewell.

He stood and watched as I shivered,
The sins of my past I couldn’t bare,
Silenced my tears, stifled it,
Oh soul, what have you dared.

Oh soul what have you carried,
Of virtues lost, of time to spare,
Now my head flames in dark cherries,
Oh brown the hazel it no longer cares.

I wish I was dirt,
I wish I was carried,
Like this petunia bulb,
No sins back to glare.

No dances to sing to,
No laughs, no sorrys,
No warm hugs and kisses,
No lies and deceits to swear,

I wish I was a petunia bulb.

Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

My days are merging blurry,
Run the rhythm slow,
Smell the acacias and the berries,
Oh heaven, where did you go?

You kept me silent,
Withered my dreams away,
Choked my memoirs vibrant,
Oh heaven, take this devil away.

You kept me silent,
Withered my dreams away,
Choked my memoirs…

Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

True to my colors,
I am exhausted,
Taken enough of my time,
Because something was lost in my doorstep,
Of water and sand,
I t’s no longer mine.

My eyes are heavy in defeat,
I fight my way out of sleep,
The sound of air blowing,
Pitch the dark nights are showing.

Working keeps me out of insanity,
I’ve watched the world go by and by,
Forced enough to speak of vanity,
Can’t show what isn’t even mine.

My body is feverish,
Darken the ink too soon,
The answer of death was once devilish,
Maybe I asked for it an hour too soon.

Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

The leaves are shedding slowly,
Wither away thy roses day by day,
As the creatures sleep in deep forests,
Under the Summer nights of late May.

Flowers liquid under shinning moons and freeze,
Hot deserts sing by the birds,
Kisses by Summer nights softly breeze,
Climb and smile in a share of lovely thirds.

Collect the flowers and bloom,
Cicadas are dying too soon.

Earthly green dark versus bright,
Let’s shatter what’s left of us for a final night.
We are the shadows of the darkest age,
Tell me a final tale of how heroes fade.

Hear the birds chipper and wail,
Softly whisper me the mirrors of your tale.
Cricket and sounds touch my ears,
Humans around screaming “Pioneers”,
Take flight,
Take fright,
May the last echoes of bullets rest their place in here.

Shore to Shore

Calligraphy | Red Spider Lilies

I’m heavy on defeat,
My failures painfully destroy,
Soft the bones beneath my feet,
I’m not sure how to stand anymore.
My hands refuse to paint,
To write,
Or even to explore.

I can’t push myself to sleep,
For the fear of losing even more.
The ink on this pen is dry,
The paint on my brushes abhor.

No memories enough to retrieve,
Friendships fully washed by the shore,
In words unspoken,
In fonts I don’t adore,
My flesh, my blood and my fear,
All features fading to an eyesore.

How many breaths do I have left?
How many words can I write more?

I guess it all depends,
If I sleep tonight,
Or wake up by the final shore.
